Forum Title: Transition to tile - aesthetically
Installing engineered hardwood on slab, glue down. Flooring is on same plane as tile. Question: should I run the boards right up to the schluter strip leaving a 1/8 gap to calk or should I do a border separating the tile from the wood for aesthetics? I know the second option will be much more work, but I want it to look nice as I will not be doing this again! Pics below 2 options

If it was mine I'd do the border or turned look. Looks much nicer to me but you are the one that has to live with it.
